The Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre for Latin America (MTCC Caribbean) operates within The Universitad Marítima Internacional de Panama (UMIP), Centre for trainings of Maritime Industry and Coastal Marine studies.

Strategically located close to the Port of the City of Panama, it uses the office space, equipment, IT infrastructure and staff of the University.

The university’s scope involves all areas related to the maritime sector, including all aspects of shipping, maritime infrastructure and services, coastal, marine, and environmental protection.
